4.NOT ALL BEEF IS CREATED EQUAL
You’ve probably heard about grass-fed beef, but what does this term actually mean? Ideally it means that cows are pasture-raised and eat natural grass, instead of factory farming. But even grass-fed can be misleading because many cows feed on grass freely when they’re young, but are ‘finished’ as grain-fed in a factory farm. At ButcherBox we only use grass-fed, grass-finished beef. Our cows are pasture-raised and finished — they spend their entire lives roaming freely and eating grass.
