I've been making this recipe for years, and for good reason! If you only need 3 ingredients to achieve the same nostalgic taste, why would you do anything else! It's delicious, and so easy you wont turn back.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add all ingredients to a bowl, mix until well incorporated.
Using a tablespoon, or mini cookie scoop, Scoop dough and roll into balls.
On a parchment or sil-pat lined cookie sheet place the dough ball down and gently smash until they are the shape of somewhat thick "disks".
Using a fork, make 2 hashtag or pound sign in the dough, flattening out a little further.
Place cookies in oven and bake 8-10 minutes. BE SURE NOT TO OVER BAKE!
Cool on a cookie sheet. Or if you're impatient like my husband, eat them straight out of the oven with no consideration of your tongue. Your kitchen your business.
